Monica Schley at Fidalgo Bay Wedding

Weddings & Corporate Events

The harp is an instrument synonymous with peace, love and relaxation. If you are planning your wedding right now, congratulations! This is a very fun and special event in your life. I believe there is no right or wrong way to pick out the details of this event, so choose music that suits you and is emblematic of your relationship. Examples of weddings I have played:

  • traditional Jewish wedding ceremony
  • all songs by The Beatles for a church wedding
  • classical music in a chapel
  • pop music (Radiohead, Nora Jones) in a park
  • improvised music for a simple backyard ceremony
  • Gothic theme (Dead Can Dance, Renaissance music) for an twilight candlelight ceremony

I offer all wedding clients a virtual consultation. My minimum rate for a wedding ceremony is $400. This price includes: consultation; 30 minutes prelude; ceremony music; postlude as your guests mingle afterward (up to 1.5hours of total service).

Cocktail hour price after ceremony is available, price dependent upon change of location. Please ask for a quote!

Harp duet (with either bass, cello, flute or violin), is $650 minimum for ceremony. Cocktail music after ceremony is also available for duets.
